Privacy policy
How we handle your information, including your unpublished invention details.
Last updated November 2026
What we collect
Your account details: your email address and your password. Your password is stored in a scrambled form that we can’t read.
Your project: the answers you type, the names of the inventors, your drawings, and the part names you add.
Your payment status and the amount paid. Payments are handled by Stripe, so we never see or store your card number.
Basic technical information that any website receives, such as your browser type, to keep the service running.
How we use it
To run the service: sign you in, save your work, build your documents, process your payment, and send you account emails such as confirming your address or resetting your password.
To answer your questions and fix problems.
We don’t sell your information, and we don’t use your invention details for advertising.
Who handles it
A few companies help us run the service. They handle your information only for that purpose: a hosting provider that serves the website, a database and file-storage provider that keeps your account, answers, and drawings, Stripe for payments, and an email provider that delivers our account emails.
Your drawings are kept in private storage. They’re shown to you only through short-lived private links.
We may share information if the law requires it.
Cookies
We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in. We don’t use advertising cookies.
Your choices
You can ask to see or delete your account and project at any time by contacting us using the details in the page footer.
When you delete your account, we delete your project and drawings. We keep a record of your payment for accounting and tax purposes, as the law requires.
Please download your documents before asking us to delete anything.
Children
The service is for adults and isn’t meant for anyone under 18.
Changes
If we make a significant change to this policy, we’ll let account holders know.
